Question :
What will it cost to live
onboard ?
Answer :
The cost to live on board our residential
cruise liner
will vary.
This
will depend on the size of property chosen, and how many people will be living
in the premises you have chosen. Our fees are inclusive in the price, and include many services and
features.
It will be far less than living on a cruise
ship, and less than owning a condo on ship, yacht or boat.
If you look at historical costs of
operating a ships, they are based on accommodation size and passenger
capacity.
For
Instance: If you have a boat that is about 500 to 600 feet long, and the
lowest annual operational costs possible are around $5,000,000 dollars for 400
passengers, the average cost per passenger would be $12,500 or $25,000 per
couple. This would be adjusted, depending on the size and type of accommodations
and offset slightly by other sources of income onboard.
Food and fuel costs would devour
all of these, especially with the rising price of fuel.
If you consider food cost alone,
Breakfast @ 2$
Lunch @ $3
Dinner @ $4
This is $9 per day per
person, at minimum.
This would be $3,285 per person per year.
or $6,570 per suite just
for meals.
Add
fuel, labor, maintenance fees, port charges, inflation, house keeping,
telecommunications, plus many other charges to operate, it won't take long
to devour your money.
We base our fee structure on a fair
platform.
What
you use is what you pay for.
Nothing more.
Electricity is metered,
Water is metered,
and other utilities are all metered to give
you and your family a fair value.
You can look at our residential
ocean liner properties as being a
place to own, where the condo fee is inclusive, and you only pay for utilities.
Our extensive use of alternative energy,
environmentally friendly energy, will maintain our operating expenses well into the future. |
