You can rent cruises to friends and family when you own.  Ownerships for life time vacations are for 2 weeks every year lasting the lifetime of the ocean liner.  Like timeshare, only different than timeshare. Fractional ownership programs begin at 1/26 of a year (14 days), then 1/13 (28 Day), and are available in many different fractions.  Business owner ship for local, regional, seasonal, or international cruising / travel / vacationing business, are the same cost as other programs for owning.
